Past accident...

   Noise pollution caused by Matatu's and Night clubs in Mikindani environs has become so rampant and the disturbing noise has brought about harmful impact on the existing institutions i.e Health, Churches, Schools and residential estates. Drivers hoot mercilessly and excessive vibrations from the matatu loud music without considering the consequences they might face at the end of the day.   
  NEMA regulations prohibit production of any loud, unreasonable, unnecessary or unusual noise which annoys, disturbs, injures or endangers the comfort, health or safety of others and the environment  hence the constituents are calling upon for immediate action to restore the silent cool nature of mikindani by imposing laws to regulate the current noisy situation. 
  Mikindani residents inn Jomvu constituency are now tired of complaining daily and this forced them to take online.
  Resident by name Matata De Bundez took it online..  ''Madereva wa Mikindani tunawarai kwa hisani yenu hawa wasee wakurecover matatu wengine huwa walevi hata widescreen hawaoni.Juzi juzi mwengine aligongesha ile matatu ya blue(BLESSING)kwa mti pale kwa gate ya Mikindani primary school.Pili tunawasihi pia hizi honny kubwa kubwa pia wazipige kimpango coz we have hospitals,churches and instituions alongside the road like Islamic TTC,Mikindani primary,Royal Inspiration(formerly st Kevin),LA-TULLAH,MIKINDANI MEDICAL,MIKINDANI HEALTH.Pliz heshimuni wagonjwa na wanafunzi.''

   An Mpesa Agent in Mikindani was earlier today morning shot on his thigh by unknown gunmen who later made away with approximately more than 11,000Ksh from him upon his arrival at his Mpesa shop situated near Mikindani primary in Jomvu constituency.
  Its believed the gunmen and the agent had a brief altercation before gunshot was heard, The thugs were armed with a gun, intensified their threats to the Mpesa Agent who later is believed to have struggled with them before they succeeded to rob him after shooting him.

   The gunmen, according to eye witnesses after they committed the crime, they got onto a motorcycle making away with the cash they had stolen.

  Police immediately reported to the scene, took away the injured man to BOMU Hospital where he is admitted yet to undergo surgery to remove the logged in bullet but he is in better condition.
  Area police boss Peter Omwana confirmed to have intensified security and manhunt to ensure culprits are brought to book and calling upon those with information concerning the incident to voluntarily come forward to help in further investigations.
  Its believed same gunmen, later while escaping on a motorcycle shot and injured a conductor at Mataa Ndege who was due to his chores of ferrying passengers Town to Jomvu Kuu thinking they were up following them. In the process the Matatu's windscreen was also hit with the bullet.
