Today being saturday 25th March, Honourables, family, relatives,friends and members of the public are converging at Main HARAMBEE at AMANI PRIMARY to help in Funeral arrangements. news of your wife 's PENINAH passing on friday 17th morning. We so very
sorry . #Joyre and #BLW~J extend our heartfelt
sympathy .
Your wife Peninah was a tremendous gal . We
enjoyed her company on so many
occasions and we always spoke of
her in the highest regard. We always
commented on how gracious and helpful
she was to everyone and how she shunned
any praise for what she just did naturally .
One of our fondest memories of her is all
the help she gave us when we first formed our groups . We will never forget that act of
extreme kindness. We know that life will not
be the same without her for you and us as
well. She was one of those special people
who on their passing you wonder how you
will get along without them . We know she
would want us to honor her memory by
keeping our spirits up and moving on , as
difficult as that will be .
Please extend our sympathy to your entire

PART 1. Learn about The OLD MIKINDANI.

Evolution of mikindani.. ~ (Mikindani). Mikindani was a project of  World Bank to upgrade Mombasa island.

Basically it was Swampy, bushy full of (Mikoma) Palm trees, Mikungu (Tropical Almond) Mikunazi (jujube) ,Mizambarau (Black palm), Miembe (Mango trees), Mikilifi(mwarobaini/NEEM TREE) na Mikinda (Growing Palm), that was plenty giving birth to the name MIKINDANI. By-then there was a slum village at Awanad called Riati a residential for poor individuals whereras they were forcefully evicted and a sign post was put up with readings ----Mikindani thus the origin of the name KIBAONI.
The name KWA MWANZIA  popped up from a popular Kamba business man who used to live there. There lived an Old man (farmer) by name Mzee Bikoi in KWA NG'OMBE who had a herd of cows and tribe of goats in the area.  
 GANAHOLA derived from METHODIST CHURCH in Mikindani from (HOLLAND) who had ACCRA GHANA projects forth GHANAHOLA. 
The name KWA SHEE there was a Sheikh who was poisoned after drinking contaminated poisoned water from the WELL hence Kwashee. The are was mostly known for witchcraft rituals and activities. 
STAFF was well collected and lived Rich people, working class from POSTA STAFFS,RAILWAYS STAFFS and KPA STAFFS. Only two Stages were present at that time  KWA OMARI na KWA CHARO.Those days we had antelopes that were hunted for meat by the young men of those days.
Sunset is a recent name originating from the  guesthouse. Famously business enterprise 
 KULA UNONE gave birth to  kongowea ndogo stage!  
plaza is the building with a bar and rented shops directly opposite AP post built around 1993  and it was famous for chips. Kwa omari for battery charge  opposite kcb Atm and the only omari butchery back then.   
Bangladesh was called Kisumu ndogo.So when Jaramogi was fighting for multi partisam and came from  conference in Dhaka Bangladesh he held the first LUO rally in Mombasa and venue was Kisumu Ndogo and was changed to Bangaladesh 1982. In early 90s Mikindani pimary uniform was yellow in color.

Karanene a swampy place was a playground for area children. At Coast Silos there was a village (Kwahadharani) An elderly man had a Kiosk.  

Nyanya Flora, hada  Mrenda and Mkunde farm along  Mkupe bridge Main Road towards godowns.

JOMVU in Mikindani- ODM's DAN ALOO mourns her Beloved wife.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you that former Knut Coast National Executive Council member and Odm aspiring leader DAN ALOO, who lost her wife Monica on Friday 17th March morning at Pandya Hospital as she was und
er medication. Aloo broke the news on demise of her beloved wife on facebook , ''My life with my beloved wife Monicah , the late has been long and enjoyable . May the Almighty father rest her soul in Peace'' and continued...... ''On blessed sunday we pray for Monicah , soul as we continue with planning.''
Monicah was a wonderful mother for the Jomvu people who continually used comedy to raise awareness within the community around the issues faced by the people.
Its hard time for mwalimu Aloo who is eying the Jomvu perliamentary seat mombasa on ODM ticket with days remaining for party nominations on 11th April.
Our thoughts and Prayers are with family, relatives and friends, Monicah will be remembered for her selfless and continuous efforts to make Jomvu a better place to Live.

Mathias Shipeta - DECLARES his interest for Mp Seat Jomvu.

 Shipeta a liberal, intellectual and a youth from Jomvu Constituency and a key Staff member from office of the senator Mombasa county has officially declared his interest for the member of parliament [mp] seat in Jomvu under Wiper ticket. Mathias who has continually been including, engaging youths in discussions  revolving around empowerment and politics decleared his interest after wiper Organising Secretary MP Badi Twalib became {disloyal}to wiper party by increasingly being part and Parcel to Odm leader Hassan Joho, this follow after Badi absoconds Wiper meetings and rallies but finds time to attend Joho's , recent being Joho's welcome back massive ralley where Badi attended to an extend of endorsing Joho.

I will be running for MP Jomvu Constituency on a Wiper DMK ticket.Einstein says Madness is doing the same thing every day and expecting a different result.Lets be real,they have been in politics for long and its all been the same.If they tell you I cant,tell them God can.If they tell you i have no experience,tell them thats exactly what you need.#YesYouthCan."
 
It hasnt been easy for the news of Mathias vying, though since the constitution got into action, it has been axcepted by people of Jomvu that only aged people as they were experienced, suited to administer Jomvu Constituency. It has been so because it was believed that they knew and understood the constituency and its requirments better than the Youth.
Mathias joining the race has to work extra to battle other aspirants eying the MP seat in Jomvu who include Badi Twalib, Karisa Nzai, Said Chande, Jonathan Wepukhulu, Libarn Hirsi, Said Chande.
 

JOMVU- ODM TICKET -> Is it Dan Aloo or Badi Twalib?

Barely weeks after Jomvu Kuu Mca  Hon Karisa Nzai  defected from Odm to join Jubilee  and an aspirant for Mp Seat in Jomvu, it was all jubilation to Dan Aloo of [Coast executive member-KNUT] who had seen glory in getting direct ODM ticket  being the only candidate but worry is how Jomvu MP Badi Twalib [wiper organizing secretary]is excessively attached to ODM - Deputy Party Leader  Mombasa Governor ALI HASSAN JOHO where Badi despite having paid in Wiper he has absconded most of wiper meetings and rallies but had the guts to attend Joho’s rallies recent being welcoming Joho who jetted back from states and publicly endorsing him as the next Governor of Mombasa in Mikindani  Shared the Podium with Governor Joho..Dan Aloo an only aspirant in ODM for mp Seat Jomvu,was hindered the precious moment demeaning his stand in ODM. ALOO  who enjoys support from Luo community and Teachers in Jomvu were Castigated by how Gov Joho is imposing and endorsing  a candidate affiliated to Wiper. Earlier it was rumoured that Badi Twalib is to be Joho’s Deputy Governor in the coming  general elections after the current deputy Katana joined Jubilee. But this ain’t confirmed from both parties. This has lead to Mathias Shipeta a Key Staff Member of the office o f the Senator Mombasa declaring his interest for the Mp seat under Wiper ticket. “I’m ready to face Badi Twalib during the wiper nominations if he is for us or against us. You cant be for us if you endorse an opponent leaving your  Wiper party boss Omar Sarai eying the gubernatorial seat.” Shipeta said.
