Mombasa county secretary (Cs) Francis Thoya with his good presentation skills is slowly winning the hearts of many in Jomvu Constituency after his visit to Kikaangoni village in Kwamwanzia,  Jomvu constituency accompanied by area Mca Renson Thoya, Ward Admin Mr Gideon Musyoka, Inspectorate Madam Cecilia, Health departments 4 days ago.

   Residents have been living to complain over the poisonous clinker dust emitted by Motrex Transporters for a couple of months that has effectively affected majority on respiratory system, itching eyes e.t.c
   To get a report, Thoya issued a 7 day ultimatum to the committee he formed immediately between the Health Departments, Inspectorate with a representation of one person from the community to address the issue as he accused the company for late mitigation of the clinker.

 Residents have put hope thanking CS Thoya for his dedication,  forward-thinking to solve the clinker issue as he is perceived to represent the community's interests and playing the role of protecting them, hand in hand with the area Mca Renson who lacks sleepless nights and responding on time upon their call.
  Establishing his trust with the Kikaangoni Kwamwanzia area it truly shows how they now feel secure with him after sharing their opinions and cry without the fear of judgment, freely shared information and he openly collaborated ordering probe into the clinker issue with immediate effect that residents have been left applauding him so with their best interests in his mind. They have since waited for the result as its only 3 days remaining.  FRANCIS THOYA is a highly motivated and productive workforce leader and we look forward him succeeding our able governor sultan JOHO.

JOMVU- Former NASA aspirant Wepukhulu urges parents in Jomvu to take children to school in advantage of Free Education.

    Parents in Jomvu constituency have been asked to take advantage of the free primary and secondary education and take their children in School.

         A member of Bunge la wananchi Jomvu during their monthly meetings yesterday has appealed to the Mikindani A.P and Changamwe police to beef up security at Staff in Mikindani environs.

  Raising claims of ganging up with fellow youths to protect their mothers in their own hands to tackle the criminal gang but feared the repercussions it might bring following an earlier in a past incident where it caused a meihem and earlier closure of businesses for fear and tension after they took matters in their hands.

   Mathias Shipeta has been the forefront foot soldier of NASA leader Rt Raila Odinga in Jomvu Constituency, Shipeta lost to Hon Badi Twalib emerging position four with massive youth following.

  After his boss then Wiper secretary Hassan Omar shifted from wiper to join Jubilee in search of greener pastures leaving Shipeta and some others political orphans in Wiper, nothing has stopped him maintaining it in Wiper under NASA becoming the Jomvu Nasa NRM General.
  Shipeta has continued soldering on with his own resources standing and representing Raila at all cost with braveness without creating bridges because of political parties but good inter-personal relationships with former Senator Omar.
 It's not yet clear if Shipeta is on the way following his boss to Jubilee since he had posted a TBT picture of him, Sarai with some other Sarai staff  and captioned,   

        ''Whether in Jubilee or NASA nothing changes about how I look up to you.I have no regrets supporting you and I will do it gain if asked to.You are a great man.Salute sir.''

  But despite both Shipeta and Hassan Omar facing increasing domestic and regional uncertainties amid from their former staff over unpaid gratuities, Shipeta seems to being crucified by an account believed to be a pseudo VENESA WAFULA, that breaths fire whenever it posts, as Shipeta is the main target.
  He had this to say concerning the issue, ''Í can't comment or argue with a ghost account that has biases full of malice, that is a broke individual feeling the pinch and trying to make ends meet, i don't pay gratuity, that's the work of the government and none has even yet received.''

Jomvu - ''Yes we Sympathize with deceased families, but Regulate Disco Matanga sound at wee hours.'', Residents.

    Mikindani is home loved by many, young or old, i mean people with different calibers, job titles and just to cut it short its a cosmopolitan ward in Jomvu Constituency.
 Over the recent days what worries most is you would not pass without bumping into a Disco matanga, all to contribute/raise cash to cater all preparations to get the deceased buried in a respectful send off or without humiliating their families. 
 During our chief editor social media perusal, got into an assumed post with no Like or Comment, (i guess people resisted), with a humble plea to regulate music sounds with an apology if what he was saying was wrong. It read.......

  ''We all lose loved ones ,we all feel the pain of funeral arrangements including fund raiser however we all agree that of late there is tendencies of very loud music going into wee hours of the night during dico matanga fundraisers. Mikindani residents mixed reactions to their newly elected MCA Renson Thoya taking part in Sewage tunnel clean-up exercise terming it cheap ''PR''.

Residents usually have high confidence, full of joy in their elected MCAs unlike other elected leaders holding the MP, Senator, W-Rep positions as they're readily available.
 For this Mikindani Ward  MCA Renson Thoya have striven to be in close relationship with his mikindani community and always maintained his availability approach when needed by the people, this is according to his close alie Francis Juma who seems to control most of the Mca's office programs and  always active online to update Thoya's daily activities.
 Though today one of the community watchdogs from ''Bunge La Wananchi Jomvu'' who the previous years put the county budget committee on toes is at it again blaming both the residents and the Mca on the roles of an MCA.
On an online post Mr Matata De Bundez posted..... 

 ''So disappointed by some peoples comments on Juma Boy post. Nowadays people are sophisticated, well informed and civilized. I wonder if someone living in Mikindani the modernized place don't understand devolution while someone at a remote Budalangi knows what ugatuzi mean.Guy try to know the role of WARD REPRESENTATIVES.The MCA major work is to represent you in county assembly. 2-is to enact bills and amend laws in county assembly like the MP in National assembly. 3-to oversee how county funds are spent.Sio kuchokora mitaro na sewage.We have departments to do such work.I wonder people who have constitution on their heads like #Mkenya #Mumo #Situma #JohnPaul allowing people to be fooled instead of schooled. Jomvu!!! University Student calls for well wishers to help clear his fee deficit of 20,000/= to enable him sit for Examination before 5th December.

  Robin Kiema Peter is stranded for want of sponsorship or a well wisher in contribution to clear his varsity deficit of 20,000/=.
  Robin hails from Aldina in Jomvu Constituency, he is a student at Mount Kenya University Mombasa Campus Branch undertaking pursuing Bachelor of Education (arts) of Registration BEDA/2017/71207.
   First, Jomvu Youth Network through Matata and King'ori brought the plight of this student to the knowledge of the public in Jomvu forum in whatsapp and facebook that recently caused a stir in question of the education sector in the region calling upon them to heavily invest in education.

''I have been up for DIBL program, (Distance and Institutional Based Learning), during the last semester - August we did learn and had cats, the main examination is December 5th 2017 once the university opens we do that MAIN EXAM, for the units done in AUGUST then afterwards new units follows of which i can't be allowed to sit for if i still have the fee arrears, henceforth i call for the well wishers to chip and help to make my Dreams to come True.''

He is saddled because of the 20,000/= for him to sit for the examination, if he fails extra charges are imposed on.

 “It is difficult for me here because I don’t receive any support from home, my parents have nothing and struggles for  meal  in a day back upcountry, am all alone in Mombasa, hence not enough to assist me financially. I have had to depend on my hustles to cater for daily fare from Jomvu to Mombasa town, for food and shelter,” he told #JomvuWeWant

 Narrating how he came to find himself in such a situation, he said right from his first year of study at the Mount Kenya University, the delayed payment of his school fees and maintenance fee came as a result of him absconding classes to hustle for fare, Rent and Fees and got worse as time went on. 

Apart from this, his school fees is expected to shoot  that he can’t afford it and have to raise two times the amount to pay his second semester and final year fees, respectively.
