She has added the number of women joining politics in Mombasa over the recent years i.e Mishi Mboko, Mama ZamZam, Mariam 'Digida' Antonette, Sadaf Deen, Aisha Mohammed,Lubalo and Wawuda that seems to be a citizen-led initiative
working to engage and increase the participation of women with politics with the backing of their supporters.Millicent has hosted social events, developed educational resources, participated in political activities, and connected women with their community and each other despite being the chairman of Jumuiya ya Wamama in Nyali and
advocated on behalf of all women, including the aged and those with disabilities , regardless of sexual orientation in her community.
